The perfumers specifically chose a particular peony hybrid (Treasure peony) and Ashoka flowers (Saraca asoca) for Crush's accords, which have pink pepper with fiery, lively flavors that are enhanced by flowery notes. The citrus flowery and fresh notes of the treasure peony become more feminine. Ashoka blossoms, which normally have yellow-orange blooms and bloom from February to April in the rain forests on Indonesia's west coast, are quite fragrant. The Ashoka tree is revered and highly regarded in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
